I got a call from my service advisor that there is a new software upgrade for the 535. When I first got the car in February I noticed a slight hesitation when starting out in 1st gear (automatic transmission). It's not noticeable in sport mode - and to be honest it wasn't all that big a deal to begin with. It doesn't happen in any other gear. The tech who looked at it for me said it was normal - but my SA emailed me this past Friday (May 16) to say I ought to bring it in to have this upgraded software loaded. Its supposed to solve the hesitation problem.
Anybody know what's going on?

Any news?
I noticed this in my car as well (2008 535i delivered 4/21) and just assumed it was normal.

Guys BEWARE! Make sure they are not upgrading it to PROGMAN 29.2 or else it will be able to detect all the tunes that you install in your car. It will log all the limp modes and errors that happens on your car. Get a sprint booster if you want to solve the hesitation.
