Hello group,
I was also very curious to find my car on the boat so I did some searching and found this site. As long as you know your boat name, you can see where it is on the map. Scroll down to find your ship's name (which your dealer should have) and then click on "plot".

You can usually find out your ship name by asking your dealer (once your car is enroute). The dealer has much more detailed shipment status than you can find at the BMW Owner's Circle website. Along with the ship name, they will have other useful status like ETA, Production status, etc.
