Is there like a printed info on the back side of the wheel (usually back of the spoke) that you can verify the dimension infos?

I have a similar offset on my xi (Front ET35 & Rear: ET38) but it does not stick out by that much... granted my setup is 19" & avant garde wheels ---but I don't think it matters (offset is offset).... did you check the actual offsets stamped on the rims? (maybe vossen sent the wrong offset rims?)

Yup that's what I wonder too ... granted the OP got 9" width up front but same as you my ET35 front doesn't stick out at all, my 19" setup up front is 8.5" width so .5" less from the OP so only additional .25" more outward/inward for 9" width.

Usually the factory stamped the width, diameter & offset infos on the back of the wheel spoke, sorry I don't have Vossen wheels so I have no idea where Vossen stamped them (if any).

Interesting. I wonder if the pic below is an Xi car? The wheels on it are 20x9 F and 20x10.5 R...which look fine.

It makes me wonder if they sent him the non Xi wheels in the ET 20 F, ET 27 R setup because their wheels in that size and bolt pattern only come in:

20x9 ET 20 OR ET 35
20x10.5 ET 27 OR ET 42

Since they screwed up in sending him 1 incorrect wheel, it wouldn't surprise me if they screwed up on the offset as well.

It's hard to tell ... different wheel ... your pics has 5 spokes the OP has 7 spokes.

Lookin' at the concavity from your pic ... it seems to be the regular RWD car.

So yes ... I agree w/ you I think they sent the wrong set.
