My Ride: 2001 BMW 316ti, 2004 BMW 530d, 2006 BMW 530xd, 2013 BMW 320d touring, 2014 BMW 520d touring, 2016 BMW X5, 2020 BMW 320da touring, 2020 BMW 540i

Engine: Flat six
Got a call from the dealer saying that they have to replace the electric fuel pump on my 530d.
I think it's a 525d, 530d and 535d thing ...
Anyone with some information please ?
I'm getting tired of these recalls .....
and 6 months from now the warranty is finish... then what ??

The problem for the car produced between 11/04 and 01/05 was regarding the mechanical injection pump.

Mine was produced in 28th April 2004, delivered 1st June 2004.
I think there is an electric pump that pumps the fuel from the tank to the engine ...? Not the engine pump i think ...
The warranty around here is 2 years.

got the info right now, my car isn't affected, they say....
The VIN number recall ends for numbers before mine ....
