Very nice color combo, congrats. I did not know you could get any of the grey tones with the beige interior in the 5 series. The last brochure I had showed them as not available, although they were in the 3 & 6 series. I would like something like this when my lease is up in a couple of months.

Also, how do you like the new console shifter and paddles? Your car looks great!

Picked her up last Friday night. She was on a boat headed to port when I found her. Perfect colors and perfect options. I am a proud new papa!

Platinum Gray on Cream Beige Dakota leather, Premium and Sport packages, Navigation, Sport Auto Tranny with Paddles, Comfort Access, Premium Sound, Heated Seats, Sat Radio, Ipod

Fantastic color combo in person. Premium sound definitely premium. Drives as good as it looks - awesome! Long Live BMW!

Yup, very nice indeed, I really like the classy interior combo. Good choice!

Nice engine also, it's a shame we in Europe do not get the 535i.....well, guess I have to help myself this summer with a 335i Convertible.

Yes, it is Georgia. That's my backyard garden in the background. Thanks for noticing. I enjoy landscaping so much I have become a certified Master Gardener. If I'm not driving, I'm digging!

The brochure shows what combos they "recommend", however you can order the beige on plat or space gray or even titanium if you like the particular combo. One must take into account resale when going out on the limb like that. Even though I had never seen the combo, I was confident it would look good. Ever wear a camel sport-coat with a nice pair of dark gray slacks? It's very nice looking.

I ponied up the extra $500 to get the sport auto tranny mostly because i just don't like the regular shift handle. The standard one looks odd, IMO, and it feels flimsy in the hand. This sport auto, while economically frivolous, is much more befitting the sporty nature of the car. Too early to tell on the paddles because the car is still inside it's break in period.
