I know this post was about the iPod install, but those black tint headlights have me in intrigued! What is visibility like on those, or is only part of the light tinted?

How did you run the cable to connect to the iPod up to the shifter area?

Hi, I am looking to do the same thing. I have an 04 530i with the premuim sound and the cd in the glove box. I also have the software updated and can play mp3's in the in dash cd slot. From searching this site, I think I can just order the Ipod interface and cable and install it without having to have the dealer do any programing. Could you confirm this?? Thanks in advance...
