I understand one of the 2010 map discs out there on the Internet has POIs like traffic cams. But, since your nav is reading a disc, the information would only be as current as the date the data was obtained and created on that disc.
The real time POI's on devices like GPS with traffic info would be more timely I suppose.

They're just POI that police are known to hang around. Actually it's pretty accurate too! Very surprising. Looks like someone took a lot of time to gather the POI's.
It's a bit different than my 2010 map as well. It's loaded within seconds and goes directly into map mode. I don't get that "accept" screen and it pulls up POS's quickly. My 2010 did not have all the speed cams available and didn't have the police traps. I'm happy with it. $35 Well spent

These discs have been around for as long as the Pro Nav itself. You gave peope the impression that you were using an original BMW disc, which is why there were so many responses.

Not sure what you mean. It's definitely 2011 maps and poi's ... my original was 09 and it was Navtech this is TeleAtlas. I have on 04 with an 06 CCC retrofit. The maps are a bit different than my 09 disc. I don't have any pics of the maps in my car but I can take some. I just used pics from the add. I'll post my own later. I don't know exactly what is different but the colors on the maps are just different.

The disc you have just bought is not an original BMW product. Its a copy of the original when the added POI data on it. So what you have bought is a bootleg version.

You seem seriously concerned. Well it looks good, works good. As long as you don't have a problem with it I'd like to keep it...........technically i didn't buy it, It was given to me for a donation. Sure a monetary one but that's because I'm all out of sugar, dates and figs
