New N54 install issues.
 

Rebuilt N54 finally in place.
The motor starts right up, idles rough and dies.
I cleared all faults before starting. The injectors have been programmed.
I am getting intake and exhaust VANOS errors, misfire errors on a couple of cylinders and a vacuum error on one turbo.
1. The VANOS are new. I did pull and bench check them on the bench and they check out fine.
2. Plugs are new, I don't know enough to be sure the misfires aren't related to the VANOS error.
3. I traced the vacuum lines all the way back to the vacuum pump and everything looks good.
I have looked for a wiring diagram for the VANOS and cannot find one.
Anyone with any ideas? This newby thanks you in advance.

With that behavior, I'd monitor the fuel pressure and see if it's trailing off as you start the car...
