My Ride: 2006 550i - Titanium Silver, Step, Black Interior, Sports Pkg.,CWP,Comfort Access, Nav, Premium Sound, Sat. Radio
I have been 'lurking' on this forum for about a month now, as I have been considering moving up from a 325xi to a 5-series. I was in the dealership this past weekend getting some brake work done on the 325xi, and made the mistake of looking at the new cars on the lot. The salesperson caught me, and asked if I wanted to drive a 550i. I did....
To make a long storey short, that same 550i is in my driveway, and my 325xi is on their used car lot. They made me one of those "offers you can't turn down", presumabley because it is a 2006 and the 2007's are starting to arrive. The cincher for me was "....if we do this deal now, you can take it home today".
The details are as follows:
2006 Titanium Silver 550i with Black interior
- Sports Package
- Cold weather package
- Comfort package (love this option so far)
- Navigation
- Split Rear Seats
- Power sunshade
- Premium sound package
- Sat. radio
I spent all weekend driving it around - absolutely love the car!
To make a long storey short, that same 550i is in my driveway, and my 325xi is on their used car lot. Looks like it may be a while before you can fully enjoy the cold weather package

I am actually Canadian (so I like the CWP), but I bought the car and I am living in Houston, so probably won't get much use out of the CWP - the rear sunshade, on the other hand, will get lots of use.

My Ride: 2005 525i Titanium Silver Metalic and 2003 325xi Jet Black with the Premium Package in both cars.
Great choice on exterior and interior colors. Congrats on the brand new ride.....
