Hey guys, been looking around for forums on 5 series

I just traded in my E39 530i for an e60 535i and damn what a difference

both were sport models, the 535i definitely pulls harder

my questions now are, what wheels do I go with, whats a good place to get wheels, two if I was to lower it, what springs, going to get tint on it first and blackout grille, what about a front lip, any recommendations

its an 08 with 30k miles, sport, premium, winter, navigation etc

here are the pics

Welcome to the forums.

What type of wheels are you looking for? What's your budget?

Popular Cast Wheels (~$1000)
www.vmrwheels.com
www.avantgardewheels.com
www.mirowheels.com

Forged Wheels (~$3500+)
www.dpe-wheels.com/wheels

Matte Kidney Grills I sell the Autotecknic brand ($60) - a tad more expensive than ones found on eBay but the quality speaks for itself. Never had a complaint from a customer about them. http://www.acuteperformance.com/matt...-bmw-e60-p-148

Lowering Options
You have springs like H&R and Eibach (~$200-$250) or if you want to kick it up a notch you can try coilovers. A popular set is KSport Kontrol Pro which go for $975. Coilovers will allow you to adjust height and damperage.

Tint
By far my favorite brand is 3M. If you have a place that offers it, get it.

Again, welcome. If there are any questions or anyway I can help, let me know.

Michael

thanks for the warm wellcome, I will definitely be talking to you about that grille then, wheels sound good like the Miros for about a grand or so

wondering do I go for 20s or 19s

How are the roads in Seattle? If they are pretty good, you can go for 20s but if it's pothole after pothole I'd stick with 19s for extra protection.

Ahh audio, not my forté.
