New headrests
#1
In the newer e60's even in some of 2008 models I see little part that moves to support the head is bigger then the one that used to come before. Which is the size of half the head rest as oppose to a full one.
I have an 08 e60 but have the older style headrests.
Thanks

You actually have the newest version of the headrests... they changed it in MY08. These new headrests are the safest of them all...

Actually, it was September '07 production when they changed it, which was about 6 months into MY08 in the US.

Which means mine fell into that early phase of 08. Out of curiosity, are the new ones any better for comfort?

Ah So it was changed following the Euro model year roll over.
PS. The new E60 headrest are the best in the market,
preventing whiplash injuries.
See this link.
