When in reverse, the right side mirror tilts down but not the drivers side mirror, is it broken?
Also, when accelerating slowly from a stop, it seems a little jerky, is this normal?

Cannot answer the second quesiton, too many variables. Might help if you post year of your e60/specs somewhere, helps to answer q's. In my LCI I do not experience what you are experiencing, perhaps it is the user getting used to the gas pedal? GL

Regarding the right side mirror normal. If you switch the position of the side mirror control from the driver to passenger position (the switch on the driver side panel) it will not tip down when switching into reverse.
