My Ride: 2005 545i shadowline
Hi everyone, I recently purchase a 2005 545i, my first BMW. I unfortunately have not been able to drive it, im currently deployed to Afghanistan, I get back in a couple months, and cant wait to get behind the wheel of the BMW, here is some more details.
2005
545i Shadowline
auburn leather interior
sports package
cold weather package
after market OEM AC Schnitzer spoiler package
navi
Thinking my first plans will be to drop it, maybe mtech kit, not 100% on anything yet, we will see. Ive always owned 4cyl turbo cars so most of my knowledge lies in early 90's awd cars and forced induction, im excited to learn about the bmw and see what its capable of.

Well welcome to BMW mod addicts page. If you arent one yet you will be! The mtech is the way to go for sure. And since you have been snooping around maybe you will invest in some wheels too!
Anyway, thanks for your service over there! be safe...

nice ride man...i def agree with you on the mtech kit....its the cleanest look out (unless u have an M5 that is). i would def also consider some wheels....19s at a minimum...but me personally im a 20" wheel guy...

yeah, im going to use this next month or so to research parts, and get ideas for exactly where i want to start. I did a little looking around and it doesnt seem like anyone on here has carbon fiber hoods??? any reason for this?? i was considering it... thought it would add a nice touch.
