Hello,

I have been watching your awesome forums for a while and decided to order a 550ia sedan. According to the BMWUSA website you can now spec the car out with the M5 Aero kit is this true?

Thanks

Tony

Welcome!
Thanks guys for answering so does this aerokit look exactly like the M5 kit? and do you get the cool M5 wheels?

Does anyone have pictures of the VPC installed option on their 550 yet?

Welcome aboard, glad you are joining the 550 club. What other options are you going with? And what color combination?

The M Tech kit looks very much like the body kit on the M5, but they are slightly different. Do a search here in the forum and you will find lot's of photos of each. No, the M Kit only comes with the 4 body pieces ... no wheels.

I'm having my M Kit installed next week - finally - so I should have some pics by the end of the week to show.

It sort of looks like the M5. The M5 is wider with fenders that bulge out more and the M5 has dual exhaust in the rear whereas the other e60s have single exhaust. There are a bunch of m kit photos in the members photo gallery. I like it.

Im going to get HUD, Sport Pkg, Rear drop seats, sunshade, Navi, M-aero kit and automatic. I am still debating on getting a 750li, I like the performance of the 550 but like the looks and interior of the 750.

If you are interested in the rear spoiler, that does not come with the M Aero kit---it is an add'l option, just FYI....roughly $400 +/- as I recall but you can search info/price lists and find out.

When I ordered my M Aero, the dealer assumed I wanted the spoiler (which I didn't) and had added that to my order.
