New to the forum - PreLCI e60 AE Drls
 

Hello there hoping to get some help from the Lighting/Coding gurus with my E60 530xi automatic

Ive been doing tons of research regarding the Pre-LCI, Angel Eyes, LM2 modules because I want to convert my angel eyes to my drls. I recently reached out to local tuner shop that said they could recode my ECU to enable my AEs as my DRLS, but they want 400 CAD for that I asked if this was a LM2 swap and coding, and they told me that I already have LM2 module and gave me this part number 9203082. I confirmed this with my local BMW dealer, I haven't physically confirmed this however.

I purchased all the stuff to do this with bimmercode, but when I went to do this no option was available or at least what was advertised on the website, however it does have the coming home light feature which I thought was only available to LM2?

Ive had incompatibility issues with my starter and coil pack where it was the next years module part numbers? mine e60 is 2007 530xi, its manufactured date is April 2006, did I get some odd production cycle where Prelci and LCI mixed? cause I have things like Bi Xenon adaptive cornering headlights, is this at all possible?

Hoping for a bit of guidance as im out of my element with coding and what not, I would like to avoid doing wire taps to the halogens (current DRL) to AEs.

09/07 is when LM2 was factory installed I believe. You'll have to retrofit LM2 to get what you're looking for.
