New engine 520d October 1st delivery

Like it says, I got a confirmed delivery date of October 1 for a 520d with the new engine.
I double-checked that it definitely has the new engine... to be honest was expecting sometime towards end October, so Christmas will come early this year
Thanks very much to everyone for all the excellent advice I read on this forum over the past months, really helped me to spend lots of money on options - even substandard Logic7, but Becker is one of my company's big customers

My Ride: My ex-ride: EU '08 LCI 520dA. Space Grey, Sport Seats in Black Leather/Fabric Anthracite, Sport Steering Wheel, A/C with Extended Features, Hi-Fi Speakers, Cup Holders, Cruise with Braking function, Folding Rear Seats, Xenons, Park Distance Control.

Great, strong engine and with really low CO2 emissions.
Hope you got the auto gear version with the new LCI box.

I've had a 520d on order via Lex Vehicle Leasing since 24th July, which feel like an age ago.
Desperately looking forward to my first BMW.

Great to see some other members also have an early delivery date as well. I was initially told my car would be a week 36 production, this was then pushed back to week 37, I expect mine in the first two weeks of October also, can't wait!

Running in is now complete, so have started giving it the beans every now and then. The performance is really good and it does seem to be getting smoother and faster as the engine beds in.
Keep ticking off the days...

525d MSport - You went for cream beige too ?! Quite worried about this, my wife's choice. I chose possibly the most impractical colour combination possible with carbon black. Looked beautiful on the showroom car though
Ricracing - Options in my signature. Dealer told me it would definitely be latest box, so anything could happen.
DeepGreen? - I think the order was placed on 26th July. The leasing company was waiting to be able to place the order in their system, as I had requested the new engine in June. My current BMW is from Lex, not sure about the new one (we use an intermediary) will check on Monday.
Although this will be my 5th 5-series, still can't bear the wait... sob... 9 days to go...
