New E60 Owner saying 'Hello'
#1
Hi Guys,
Just thought i would say Hello and introduce myself. I recently took purchase of a brand new black 520d M Sport and after owning several various BMW's over the years continue to be impressed by this version....
Its the first diesel powered BMW but still feels like it has plenty of poke in manual mode...
Car is standard apart from 19" wheel upgrade, Xenon headlamps and privacy glass...
I have covered 100 miles so far mainly town driving and am averaging 38mpg.....
Will this increse once the car has been 'run in more' as BMW claim mid 40's mpg for urban. Are there many other UK owners on the forum?
Speak soon

Welcome to E60.net
There are quite a few Brits on board here ,nice to have another one
Don't believe everything BMW tell you about fuel economy, there are a couple of threads running here about just that, and just about every one of the answers given show that average economy is below what BMW state it should be
A few pics of your car would be nice
