This is my second BMW, came from a 120i, and I just bought a 2006 550i E60, with M Kit.

I just love this car, how it goes, power and speed, it's f***ng awesome! but I have some questions.

- Is it possible to upgrade iDrive and it's screen? It came with the very first versión of iDrive, and screen is very small.

- Also, it does have Logic 7 sound system, but ampli has all rear speakers not working. I tried on a dealer with another ampli, and every speaker works, but with mine, all rear speakers don't, so I'm planing on putting another ampli, I have a digital 5 channel Alpine. Do I have to change also the speakers for the Alpine, or the ones that came on the car are good enough?

- And last but not least, I'm having problem with the break, after I push it, it breaks for a couple of seconds, but still pushing the break, it feels like pressing a rock, and I have to push it real hard to make the car break.

Does anyone know what might be?

Thanks in advance for sharing you knowledge with me
Early on, the line from the Vacuum pump to the booster was replaced because there was a possibility of oil from the v pump getting into the booster. Some time after the line was changed, the same problem happened in my car as you described. the booster was replaced for about $1,400.00.00. Not fixed, you can or will crash the car. Good Luck.
