My Ride: 2009 535i, Deep Sea Blue Metallic, Grey Dakota Leather, OEM Style 166 rims, Dunlop Direzza 245/35/19 front, 275/30/19 rear, 35% tint sides, 20% tint rear.

Hello all,

Attached are photos of my new 2009 535i in Deep Sea Blue Metallic over Grey Dakota Leather.

Style 166 wheels with Dunlop Direzza DZ101 tires, 245/35/19 front, 275/30/19 rear. (Thanks to all who helped me with proper fitting. No tire rub at all.)

20% tint on back window and front strip on windshield, 35% on side windows.

With respect to the Zaino, Griot's and other fans, just two coats of Meguiar's NXT liquid have been applied (thus far).

The car handles really well and is crazy fast.

Enjoy!

I love Deep Sea Blue -- a stunning color. Your new 535 looks great and the 166s are a classy touch.

I'm a bit jaded in that I expect most E60 owners to do some mods (becuase most of us here have done something to our cars), but I must say, this one looks good as-is. I like this color and the way the 166s look on it.

Nice car!

Thank you for all the comments. However, I do not have any more mods planned, for now at least. I achieved the look I wanted and the car's performance has already exceeded my greatest expectations. I appreciate the time, money and effort many of you put in to make your E60s unique, but here in New Orleans, there are just very few places to take an E60 for a professional modification. There's only one local BMW dealer and, in my experience at least, they "back burner" performance, comfort or cosmetic modifications behind standard service work. When my local SA tells me that Style 166 rims with 245/35/19 will not fit the front, that he will not put them on because they will definitely rub the wheelwell and even if he made the change, absolutely would not transfer the TPMS sensors...that's what I'm dealing with.
