Whats up family, im thinking about getting the new Camero SS, or possibly waiting until 2011 when the Camero Z28 comes out. But im not sure, or the other option is to wait until 2012 and get the new 7at that time, and also not to mention the wife wants the new X5 so im kind of stuck, what do you guys think.

In 2011, the new Camaro convertible is supposed to be available.

My Ride: 2005 BMW 545i, Titanium Silver. Bridgestone 760s on Weds Bavaria II 18" wheels, standard sport pack size. Sport, AT. Latest job - NGK Iridium IX plugs installed.
Man when the first one popped up I thought the new Camaro's were pretty hot, just like when the first of the Mustangs popped up. Then you start to see one at every street corner and you start to notice how cheap the paint looks..
Take a look at the V6 too you'll save some money and the performance will be close enough. Resale is going to plummet so don't count on being able to trade it in for much in 2012.

My Ride: 2006 525XI, Jet black on Dakota beige. Premium and winter packages. I consider myself a purist and intend to keep my car absolutely stock and shiny.
2008 328I Convertible, Sapphire black on beige interior. Premium package, NAV, iPod adapter.
Retired: 2002 325I, Titanium silver on black leather. Premium package. Absolutely stock and proud of it.
If you get it, we want to see pictures of the car and the new mullet it requires you to wear. G/L with whatever decision you make. As for me, I am not a fan of American cars so you will get a biased "NO" from me.

I heard they aren't do the Z28.
Personally I do like the new camaro but I'm just not into the retro thing. And more importantly in about a year let's face it - a camaro will look like a camaro again and unless you have a mullet it's just not right.
If you want american muscle stick with the vette. That or get a CTS-V!

Want a true American musclecar?? Get the Ford Mustang GT500.
Want the most blazing American sedan? Go for the CTS-V.
And of course, if you're angling for the fastest American car, get the ZR1.
