Hello All,
Firstly, this is a fantastic forum, although I do not post much it is a very valuable source of info.
Took delivery of my new ride on Thursday, a 520d M-Sport, which replaces my 530i M-Sport.The decision was mainly due to the company car tax in the UK....
I am amazed at how good the 520d is! Yes, sure, it's not as quick as the 530i, but very usable all the same.
I wondered if any of you fellow UK based E60 owners have had your 177BHP 520d's remapped? I'm told this is made a little more difficult due to 512 encryption on the ECU (?)
Any reccomendations would be great.
Anyway, I'll clean the car and post pics tomorrow.
P.S. Comfort Seats are amazing, no one in the UK orders them, apparently only 2% of E60's have them over here.
