Right...that is on page 205. That is not in the 2008 5 Series. It is in the 7 Series, but you need the cradle in order for it to be active.

Makes sense. So the manual is referring to a button "above the [telephone] storage compartment", (i.e. the cradle = the telephone storage compartment). Is that right ABC?

But isn't that where it is on the Pre-LCI models too. I have that button on my phone holder under the armrest.
