A new button to switch bluetooth on and off?
The US 08 manual references a button "above the storage compartment" which apparently switches bluetooth on and off, and as a result, allows you to move calls between hands-free mode and the mobile phone. Can anyone with an LCI confirm the existance of such a button?
If correct, this is a great enhancement.

If anyone has the US manual (online or otherwise), it's referenced on page 203, about four pages from the end of the "Telephoning" section. It shows a picture of a button with a pictogram of a speaker and states only that it is located "above the storage compartment".

I got the manual thru another e60.net member. It's too large a file to upload. If one of the moderators wants to try to post it, send a pm.

There is a button on the pre-LCI bluetooth cradles too that is supposed to be able to do this. However I could never get it to work. Hope we're both refering to the same button.

Are you referring to the speaker looking figure on page 205? That cradle is not on the 2008 5 Series.
