Hi everyone,
I am new to BMW and have been absolutely LOVING my 545i! While trolling around the forums I have noticed a lot of differing opinions regarding mods. I am wondering if I should tint my ride? It is black and I think the blacked out look would be good. I am also considering spacers - think 10-12mm - everything I have is stock on a Sport Suspension so I have the staggered wheels.

Are there any other fairly inexpensive mods you can all think of? I own a Jeep as well and I am used to be able to mod just about everything on that.

p.s. - welcome! I'll let you know about tints this afternoon. I'm replacing my 35% tint with all 20%! Should be badass!

Do you have a warranty? How is transmission, do you feel any engine surge between 30-40 mph, or a slam as you come to a stop? This is common in the 545i, just a heads up.

A small warranty - 60 more days... no surging, no slamming... not yet anyway. Very smooth. Keeping my fingers crossed.

So I think I will tint... looking for a good place here in CT. The spacers for a wider stance. I would also consider an M-Tech package if it wasnt so damn expensive

i just had all my resonators straight-piped today and I LOVE IT. it's not loud and annoying and ricer sounding, sounds real clean. get the sprintbooster, get the RPI scoops or drop-in filter, get rid of run-flats, drop a 550 motor in there and call it a night.
