Now you're in for a life of trying to keep her from marking the back of your front seats with her shoes, and spilling milk and cheerios in the car!

Even with all that, its still SOOOOOOOOOO worth it.

Congrats.

Congrats on the new baby!

My Mystic Blue 545 has always been the favorite for my son (3 years old in May). Maybe because of the bonding experience with the car in that first ride home....

Thanks everyone, mom and baby are doing well, and....drum roll.... I washed the damn car. All the winter we have been having, I just sort of forgot the code that a clean car is a happy car. Really shocked at how this thing sparkles in the sun, which happens to poke through for 10 minutes at least twice a month. Miamiphil, got the new car seat installed in the middle seat, but there is not room for the Britax Marathon's so we went with the GRACO boosters. I am glad now that I sprung for the rear airbags and sun shades, although the older two have figured out how to make them snap down, so this is a problem.

I really appreciate the words, having a third child at 44 is perhaps not the smartest thing to do, but what the hell, you only live once, and with luck, this one will end up going to Harvard medical school, and specialize in geriatric medicine to take care of her old man.

Thanks again for the thoughts.

congrats on your newborn! she's a big girl =)
just a thought, you said you have rear side airbags, but i though i heard/read that rear air bags are not good for young babies/toddlers? anyone know more about this?
i don't have the rear airbag option, but if it's really true that rear airbags are not meant for babies/kids you may see if you can disable it.

i have two carseats in my 5 and they have to be on each side, can't have 1 in the middle and 1 on the side...
