Board,
I sold my '03 540I Sport and leased a new 550 with sport package. Space Gray-Black,Comfort access, Logic 7, HD and satalite radio, I-Pod, shades, Nav, cold weather, ect. WHAT A CAR! Local BMW Dealers have been agressive with remaining '08's and I saved a lot of money.
I've been driving BMW's for 28 years and this car is a load of technology.
The low aspect ratio tires are a bent rim waiting to happen- I bought the road hazard warranty. Has anyone here up sized their tires to what is used on the E60 M5? I was told by a local dealer that the hub offset is different on an M5 and front tires won't fit. This car defentally looks "under tired" it could use the next size aspect ratio tires to fill out the wheel wells. I would appreciate your knowledge and comments. Dave H

Anyone tried 245/40 and 275/ 35's?
The variable above is 3.5% diference in rolling diameter.
What are the M5 Tire sizes?

I don't think I'd use a 3.5% difference. That's got to trip the DSC at highway speeds.
