Hey guys - Love the car, photos to come!

I have managed to burn a MP3 cd thru vista and it plays, woohoo! But, i cannot get track names to show, I only get the track number appearing, like your playing a cd. Any ideas for me you gurus?

thanks
Craig

Hey, thanks for the link... I have looked at every link I could find, but still have no answer. So to recap... I can get my MP3 burn to play in my car, but idrive list the tracks as though it is a cd with no titles. Does anybody have any ideas how to get the track names up?

cheers
Craig

Have just figured something out.

My car will only play an MP3 file where there is a .CDA extension involved. Does anyone know anything about this?

cheers again

Welcome to the board! Have a cold beer and surf around, you'll be surprised how much knowledge there is in this forum. Sometimes I wonder whether some members know more about the cars than BMW themselves...

Hi Craig,

Go the kiwi's on E60.net!

Which dealer did you buy it from out of curiosity? If you find some one who is really on to it regarding i Drive etc as I would love some help pairing my K750i Cell Phone....Team Mc's is trying to help today...

Cheers

Itunes also works. Besure to convert all songs to .mp3. With itunes build a playlist with the MP3s and burn to a CD. It works fine and can display by album or artist if I recall.
