Hello All,
I have ordered a:
2006 525xi Sedan
Exterior
Orient Blue Metallic
Interior
Black Dakota Leather Included
Anthracite Maple Wood Trim
Packages
Sport Package
Premium Package
Cold Weather Package
Options
STEPTRONIC automatic transmission
17" Star Spoke Wheels
Split-folding rear seats and ski bag
Satellite Radio
Xenon Adaptive Headlights with dynamic auto-leveling
I currently have a 325Xi which I have sold to my father. So hopefully around Aug 15 I get my new car!
Just a question about new rims and tires for the snow. Any suggestions?
Thanks

Actually, I would use the stock wheels and tires for the snow - expecially since you ordered the 17's. . Thats what I did and they got me around fine last winter. (I have a 2004 330xi with the sports package). Get wheels for the summer ... something in the lines of 18-19's rims .... maybe IForged or HRE ... depending on your budget and personal taste. Depending on how the 530xi leases, thats what I'll be doing next year.

Well the dealer said that the runflats that are on the car are not really made for snow. Round here when winter comes I need snow tires. My 325xi held up with no problems at all. Any one suggest any 17 in rims with either all season or winter tires?
Also what does any one think of the anthracite wood? I'm kinda

I love the anthracite wood. it's different, like the interior. i have it so I am biased.
