Hi all
I decided to finally commit to 19" rim and purchased these new Hanes alloys with tyres yesterday. I wanted something totally different and went for non-OEM BMW wheels.
After much research, I liked this design as I think it suits my 525d SE model in Black quite well. But I appreciate it may not be to everyones taste.
What do you all honestly think? The car gets noticed when I drive around town...but is it for the right reasons? I wanted wheels that were less bling so as to not attract too much attention.
I suppose what really matters is that I am very happy with them. Opinions please....good, bad or otherwise!
...
Thanks
Kaz

They are different. Interesting. A little flat perhaps...but might grown on you. As others have said, if you're happy with them, don't let others preferences change your mind

not my style, but looks better than those 18s. Personally I stick to OEM styles, just my preference.
I'm with you.. I like the stock look.. I guess I'm old school lol

I like the look of your 19's over the looks of those 18's. By leaps and bounds.
The 19's you have on there remind me of the base wheel that came on the 7 series (circa 2004), and they look good on your car.
Personally, I don't like etching in the face of the rim, but they do look good in your case, and from a distance the etching is hardly noticeable.
The only real detractor I see on your car, is that the chrome on the front door, is not fitting flush against the trim on the back door. That is very noticeable, and raises eyebrows on exterior fit & finish. You may want to have that addressed (or removed). I like the splash guards too, glad to see those are available, especially if they are available in body colors (Will check with BMW).
Other than that, I think it looks really good. In those wheels, I think they would have looked good in chrome too. Just glad you didn't get all black... That is SO played out, in my opinion, unless it's black face with a chrome lip.
Congrats... When it comes to automotive expression, it's cool to be different- Steer clear of OEM wheels.

They're NOT my cup of tea, a bit like an older 7 series type wheel, but as long as YOU like them....
