Tend to agree about the F10. Generic, ordinary, not cutting edge. 3 + 7 = 5. Just seems to be a mash of both the smaller and the larger models with the result in the middle. And what's with the whacked mis-aligned rear lights. On the positive side, I always hate a new model year because I basically don't like change as it takes me a long time to warm up to begin with. Didn't much like the E60 when it first came out but it grew on me. All cars today are basically generic today, many try to copy the E60 to me. Don't think that will happen with this model change.
Don't be too quick to judge. I for one (and I'm sure many others will agree) was an E60 hater at first. I remember VIVIDLY seeing the E60 for the first time back in 04? and I was absolutely disgusted with the look. I recall reading articles of how BMW fanatics were outraged by the new look. And then I started seeing it on the road more and more and finally it grew on me. Now I think it's absolutely gorgeous and I ended up buying one. The F10 is different. It's gonna take a few months or even a year for me to admire it, but I'm pretty sure I will.
