Hi guys, wanne share something.
Last monday my car went dead. Fortunately I had reached a parking place, so no harm done. Nothing worked at all. I even couldn't close my car. The problem was a broken dynamo and the battery was dead. The problem is solved now and everyting works now fine.
The garage gave me also an advice. Het told met that it is common that the diesels from MY2004 could get serious problems when it has reached 160.000 km. The intake manifolds (inlaatspruitstuk) should be replaced. If not the enige could get broken. Cost of replacement between 8000 and 12000 euro. However if I replace the intake manifolds before it's broken it will 'only' cost me ? 650,- (new intake plus labour). Do you recognize this problem. As far i know this problem is solved in the diesels MY 2005.

Yes, they are on!!!!!
I'm only giving a teaser pic at the moment as the diffuser needs a bit more work to get it how I want it (perfect) and then I can get new pics:-)
Well, I turned up there and they had still ordered the even wider tyre (which I didn't want, as I thought it would be a nightmare rubbing), but after driving with my 4 M6 wheels and tyres in the boot, its only a tiny bit over large dips, so with a bit of rear arch rolling I will be totally rub free with a full car
So its running 285x30x20 Falken FK452's at the back and 245x35x20 at the front. It looks sooooo different!!! I'm well happy! Now the 2 1/5 week wait for my quad exhaust!!
Here you go. 2 very quick pics.

Ordered my first 'mod' today, a set of OEM M5 foot mats from Bavauto. Costs a fortune on shipping but done it anyway because the can't be ordered over here.
Now heading for some LED fun !

So will you be joining us in a weeks time on the Friday evening at the food strip, so we can finally get a look at the beast?
