I'm getting my tires changed this weekend while I'm going to be in Southern CA. My tires are already on order but I just noticed today that my rear tire is starting to thread/separate from the edge. It wasn't like that when I checked a couple of weeks ago, but it wore out pretty quickly. Probably didn't help that I drove about 1800 miles in the past 2 weeks. I don't want to and probably won't make the 400m mile drive on this tire.

Does anyone have a spare 275/35/18 driver side rear tire? It doesn't have to be new, nice etc. I'm looking to borrow through the weekend and can get it back to you on Sunday when I get back, or buy for relatively cheap. I just need something to hold me over the next few days and the drive down. Whatever brand is fine, semi bald is fine, just something in better shape than what I currently have. Just the tire is fine, but if it's mounted to an oem rim and you're willing to let me borrow the rim, I won't complain and I promise not to damage your rim.

I have 2 front OEM Bridgestone Potenza RE050 Run flats in 245/40/18 to exchange if you need front tires instead.

I'd not drive the car and wait it out. Either that or order it from Tire Rack and get it the next day, I'll look on my trailer to see if i have some but I think I have 245s and 285s. Are you up north or down south right now?

Thanks for the offer. I'm North at the moment. I think I may have it figured out. I asked around and have a few folks checking and getting back to me in the morning. Definitely don't want to be driving very far on that tire.
