Hi all. I have a 550i (Carbon Black) on order for Sept 4th Munich delivery. Currently, I have selected the Natural Brown (with anthracite headliner) as my interior. I really love the look of this.

My problem is, that our '08 4.8 has the Beige Vent seats (also with anthracite headliner) and I really look the cooling feature on them. I occasionally still do have a little sweat with my current 530i black comfort seats, but not enough that vents seats are a must. Just really nice feature.

What do you all think about Carbon Black over Beige Nasca/Anthracite headliner? I think it will be fine. The dash, top of the doors are already black so it sort of fades in.

Just want to second opinions.... Thanks, and if anyone has this color combo, please post some pics.

J

Personnally, I prefer contrasts and I think Carbon black with beige or creambeige/anthracite headliner would be realy nice (just my 2cts)...
That was my choice few times ago

Mine is the carbon with natural brown. If I had it to do again I would look harder at the cream beige.

If you live in a hot region like I do - then getting a lighter colored interior is certainly a plus.

And I absolutely love my ventilated seats

Ventilated seats are the only thing I regret not getting. They would be great for the mid 90 degree heat I've had here in the mid-atlantic. My .02 would be to strongly consider them.

2nd on the black interior and heat. Also, if you are a cleanliness freak the black carpet in you color combo will show all dirt, dust, leaf, debris, hair and grime. I have 2 dogs which compounded the problem.

I have Black Saphire with black comfort seats. Its fine and very good looking. I would love the 2 tone, however. light beige is way too light in my opinion.

To me the natural leather is much nicer looking than the beige because of the black hilights on the interior. With this color, only the seats are brown. With beige, you have lots more beige and not as much contrast.

I have Carbon Black on Cream Beige. Don't have the Anthracite headliner, though.
