It's time for some new tires and have been running (166 style rim) 245/35/19 in the front and 275/30/19 for the rear.....seems to be the most popular setup.

The fronts size is fine so thats easy, I was wondering if I could bump the rear to a 285/30/19 without any chance of rubbing. I do have 12mm spacers on there and really like the agressive look they give the rear so I would probably want to keep them. I do have sport suspension....

Does anyone have any experience with this setup??

Thanks in advance!!

PS I did a little searching but I dont think anyone that is sucesfully running that size has spacers (I may have already answered my question  )

I have some 285/30/19's sitting in my garage waiting to be installed. However I have 172's with ET32 and 10mm spacers. I am pretty much at the limit for not rubbing with this setup and 285's.

Your 166's with ET28 and 12mm spacers are probably pushing things. You might have to either roll your fenders or get some narrower spacers, like 5mm or 8mm or so...the latter being easier.

285s will fit, but I had to ditch my 12mm spacers on my 9.5" ET32 style 128s because the sidewalls were so close to the fenders that I couldn't put a piece of paper between the two when the suspension was compressed with them on.
