Hello. As I was putting in my LED angel eyes (dont get 5w btw, they are not bright) I noticed the wire coating had become very dry and brittle and broke off little by little. The angel eyes constantly would go out and come back on by themselves or of I hit a bump. I know it has to do with the wires not having any coat and probably catching a short when they move. Since the headlights are so expensive to replace, I was wondering if it's possible to get the internal wiring redone since they are sealed. If so, where and how much $ am I looking at? Thanks for the help guys.

You could use liquid tape and go over them, or the simpler thing to do would be just wrap them with electrical tape or heat shrink.

Same problem with my headlights. I was able to apply friction tape to the wires. Not pretty in the end (due to limited access), but worked fine to keep the wires from shorting.

I tried that but it's nearly impossible. The hole to get to the wires is too small and my hands are to big. Lol. I just ordered the thinnest wire split loom. Hopefully that will work.

You referred to the angel eyes' wiring, which I have personally taped up a few customers' headlights for due to the same issue as well. Not sure why there isn't enough room? You can even pull the wires out of the headlights. They are that long after all.
