Just ordered a 2008 535i pretty much fully loaded. Have been enjoying reading up on the E60 here in the forum and came across something today I can't seem to locate the answer to. I linked to the "Information" area here via a post where all the .pdf's are about the various E60 specs, OM's, Available Options, etc. are located.
Under the "US 0850/NW13" Options area is listed option #453 "front ventilated seats"....are these available for 2008 US 535i's or does the designation "Priority 1" mean they are not yet available?
I ask because, the leather seats do get hot here in SoCal and would very much like this option...however, I have only 1 or 2 days left to add it to my order.

I recently ordered a 535i and added the Anthracite header. This header was listed as a Priority 1 item. When I placed my order via email with the sales person didn't question. I got my car Sept. 24 with all the correct options. So I would conclude that you can order the ventilated seats (#453). Just verify that the sales person knows this is listed as a priority 1 item on the options list your are looking at.

tprindle - thanks for the response. I left a message for my sales guy yesterday and will contact him again today...good omen that you were able to get the header that was listed under the Priority 1 area.

Just tell the dealer what you want. If they say the option isn't available, tell them it's a Priority 1 option and they should be able to figure things out. If they say "What's a priority 1 option?" then find another dealer...
