'm working on adding some subs to the trunk, but I know it's sealed really well, so I want to open it up the car. I have read about just cutting a hole though the backing plates behind the fold down arm rest, but I want to take more of the backing plate out. I have the bottom portion of the seat out of the car. How in the heck do I remove the backrest portion of the seat from the car? I found some clips on the bottom of the backrest towards the far outside of the car, but even after getting that loose, the seat is definitely still attached by other means. Has anybody else pulled the back seat out? It's 2004 545 without folding seats if that makes any difference. My stereo guy can do it, but I would like to get this part taken care of before dropping it off to him and save myself some money.

The one in F10 was a mistake.
I wasn't sure which place in E60 was the best to put it.
