We are ordering a new 550i, with the M Aero Kit, but we aren't sure which color looks best with the Aeor kit: the two choices are Carbon Black (which is blueish) or the bright silver.

Thoughts?

I see your 545 is Jet Black so clearly you are familiar with the cleaning requirements of the black colors and Carbon Black is no different. If that is not a concern for you, I say Carbon Black is best. But it seems to be the color of choice on the LCI 550. I am the only Space Gray (that I have seen!) in my city, every 550 I see (with the M Aero) is Carbon Black...

Carbonblack is known to be a very soft colour ine europe - we have had this colour here since 2004. I had it and i would not take it again. it is too soft and prone to scratches...

ideally - i would go for white, if not spacegrau...

Nothing looks as good as a really deep, shiny black! :cool: They can be a challenge for cleaning but who wants a dirty bimmer anyhow. :) Enjoy your choice!

I've seen it in Titan Silver and think it looks very nice. Black is one of my favorites, but I swore off black cars after my 911 for various reasons. Really, you can't go wrong with such a great car as the 550. Big help, huh? GL.

My Carbon Black is always commented on by people as being unique and a really nice colour. My $.02.

My choice would be white, space gray or silver. Just purchased a space gray...
