Need help ignition wont turn on after jump starting the car

I have 2007 530i it would not start so i tried jump starting it with no luck even went and got a new battery still nothing then ignition stopped working I put the key in lights come on i-drive comes on push the start button and nothing happens

any ideas? please help

i did find out that rear battery cable was bad and replaced it but still ignition wont turn on

starter is good and only have one key, is their a fuse or a relay i can check for the ignition?

thanks for that info, i did get that cable replaced the problem is that the ignition wont even turn on.
when you put the key in and push the start button the only thing turns on is the i-drive

How did you verify the starter is good? Did you power it directly?
