Is it possible to know all the packages and trims of the car through the vin number?

Yes. Your bmw dealer can tell you everything your car is equipped with and all services provided by the dealer since the in-service date. They can also tell you if your car is involved in any recalss, etc.

The following sight will give you some basic information about your car, but not as much as the dealership can:

+1 ... a cooperative BMW Dealership SA, if asked nicely, will pull the configuration sheet.
