Unhappy

My dad noticed this on my new car, odd i haven't noticed before he did. Anyway i got quite upset because i don't know where that came from and i know i've been extra careful with this car (you know new car...). And i can't quite explain where that came from...anyway some say stone marks, i dunno maybe i backed up once and stepped with my rear right wheel on smth that raised and scracthed it...
so please tell me if there is a way to kinda remove them or at least use a make up for it. I tryed using abrasive polish and didn't work too much. So repainting is the only option? And is it necessay, i mean i kinda fear to repaint such a new car!
What would you do if u were me? Leave it like this?
Thanx alot!

is that the hood? (can't tell).

sorry this happened to you.

me, i'd take it to a professional bodyshop, just to get it over with.
it'll cost you, but you'll have peace of mind.

good luck!

I can't tell where on your car it is either....I would try to buff it out with a microfiber cloth and some water.

It's the back, quarter left side of the back bumbper (the rear of the car)! It is the bumper from the M pack so ----> carbon black = expensive costs and i dunno if they are goind to do a good job. Anyway i'll ask around...

Please post us some better pics.
Those pics could be from a UFO .

Anyway, sorry to hear about this.
The only thing you can do is to repaint it.
And do not worry, a new car can be fixed so that nobody can tell it is repainted.

Contact your local dealer.

May seem silly but did you try to remove it with your thumb nail or anything? You may get lucky and it may come off.
Sowmtimes a little buffing can get that off of your car.

Looks like someone scraped you while parallel parking. That sucks. You should see what they do to your car here in Washington DC. It's perfectly acceptable to bounce your car into the spot - it's normal to see insanely expensive cars with dozens of little circles cut into the paint and plastic on the rear bumper from the front license plate screws of the car behind it. Scrapes from swinging the car into the spot too that don't look too much different than the ones you have. I -never- -ever- leave my car parallel parked.

So how do you park ur car? Anyway i tried toremove it with my thumb but the scratches are in the plastic of the bumper so no chance! Tried to polish it with the hope it will cover up the white deep marks...anyway going to the dealer tell me will it be necessary to take off the bumper?

Heh, I don't generally take the car into the city - I take the Metro or else ride in with someone else. Parking garages are a last resort, but certainly no parallel parking. Besides, the potholes in the district are so bad that you don't want to really be driving there much anyway.
