nee a help for the Factory Amp?

My Ride: 2004 530i
Hi!
yesterday I just took a look at the factory amp which is in the trunk because I don't have a premium package( Sound is really poor. my lady really wants to be powerd by a big amp).
But I found that there is a really small amp like 2*4*6 inches box.
yes it is the amp. But I only found 10 wires.
Are this wires so-called optical fiber ones?
I am just curious.
