I've been looking for some help on this on the forum but not able to see anything that matches or that has working links. So wanted to see if anyone has any help with this.

I recently purchased my AUX cable and installed it. My INPA software works fine but when I go to the profile Expert Mode in NCS- Expert if gives me a german error code "ncs expert "profil version 2.0 ungültig"

Hopefully someone can give me a link to something or some help

 

where did you get your software from? what operating system are you using? ungultig is German for 'invalid'.

I got the software from one of the Bimmerfest threads. I cant find it at the moment. I am using Windows Xp SP3

 

Most unhelpful, exclusive forum I have found... Mods apparently don't approve new users to post, so I haven't found it much use and just taught myself.

I just had to help a friend through this same issue. It's almost certainly a mismatch between the NCS Expert version and the profile version you're attempting to use. You may need to search the web for a new set of profiles (try using Revtor's Expert Mode profile). If you can't find anything, PM me and I can try to send you the profile that I use.

 

Thanks to GTYellowJacket for sending me the Revtors Profile. I am now able to load that profile with no more issues. Now lastly to get Expertmode working. I have Expert Man profile that works but of all the profiles that I have on my NCS Expert Mode is the only one that will not load.

So I downloaded the NCS Expert Profiles from this site and I still got the same error. Is there something I am missing when it comes to incompatibility. Since all other profiles work besides Expert Mode. Let me ask this, what is the difference between Expert Mode and Expert Man ?

 

Have you opened the profiles in Notepad to read the settings and understand what they do? I highly suggest that, so you can learn the differences. You can just edit any of the profiles and save with NCS Expert to get them set as needed. I'd suggest just starting with the working profile I sent you and turning off FSW/PSW manipulation.
