I have been studying up on a problem I have run into and I know a few other members have as well. My secondary air system has crapped out. The pump is fine and the valves have been replaced and the "Increased Emissions" warning and "SES" keep coming up due to what the dealer is calling excess carbon buildup. I read that this secondary air system is a North American thing only and that our cars are set to American or NA settings prior to being shipped over here. Supposedly there is a "Euro" setting in the programming that basically wipes this system out from mattering or even being recognized.
Has anyone here done this or had this done? I am obviously in the Northeast so anyone in the tri-state area would be awesome.
