Does anyone know where to buy navi. DVDs for, say, Eurpoe?
Are these DVDs ready yet?
Couldn't find anything on NavTech's website.

-There is one called "Europe 2004-1 High CD" (on 8 CD's), but it will not work on the E60/E63 because they use DVD's and not CD's.
-Then there is one called "Road Map Europe High 2004-1 DVD" which is on one DVD for all of Europe but will not work on the E60. Here's the URL to this one:
http://cgi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2454888093&category=14270&rd=1
-Then there is one that is called "Europe Business-Edition 2004-1 DVD" which is on one DVD for all of Europe and WILL work on the E60, but from the name I would assume that it is only for the Buisiness NAV and not the NAV PRO. Here's the URL to this item:

-Finally there is the one that should work with US E60's and all other E60's with the Professional NAV system and that one is called "Road Map Europe Professional 2004-1". This is also one DVD for all of Europe. I think this one must be very new since I have not seen it before on eBay.de. Besides BMW just started installing the Professional NAV system a few weeks ago, so this DVD came out very recently. Here's the URL to this item:
Road Map Europe Professional 2004-1
So if like me you are in the US and want the Europe DVD for your European Delivery then you can either buy the DVD in Munich for about 300 Euros or you can try to find it on eBay from someone who is willing to ship to the US. Just make sure you get the right one.

I just came back from Europe. Picked up my 545. I have a DVD for sale.
Drove 2000 miles in Germany, Italy, Austria, France, Switzerland. Would not have liked to do this without the NAV.
$85 + shipping.
Email me if you want it.

Call Navtech's 800 number and order through them. Not sure on the price. Number is: (888)628-6277. Make sure, as the good Dr. suggested, to ask for 2004-2. It's also worth checking with circlebmw.com as they are discounted from most dealers. They can probably get you the Euro DVD, but I'm not positive. HTH.

I thought the system accepted CD-Roms too. For me this would be handy because I only drive in Holland/Belgium a lot and this way I can buy a new CD-Rom every half year (only 65 euros in stead of 250 for the DVD).
