None of the E60 discs include Poland. Neither business nor professional. The older 7 series has navi which includes maps of Poland but the 5 series doesn't...

No it definitely will not. I use a locally developed navigation system that uses PocketPC which actually works very well and has the best graphic interface I have seen to date on these things. It costs about 100 Euro and has English support so if you're desperate and have a PocketPC with GPS:

www.automapa.com.pl

Where are you heading in Poland?

i am geading to Krosno - 160km's after Krakow.

I bought an older version of automapa 2yrs ago and it never worked with my GPS. I have now a e750 toshiba pocket pc and a rikalin GPS - but i am not in the mood of buying the whole package of software again!!

what do u think of this:

Many people here including BMW Polska and their dealers have tried and nothing commercially available works on the E60. Miomap, Destinator and Tomtom have major Polish roads but much less detailed than Automapa.

Just out of curiosity - if you're feeling adventurous - there's a guy, about 60 km north of Wroclaw, selling a complete leather upholstery set like you were looking for for something like 1100 Euro.

Front and rear seats, doors and central tunnel apparently.

Krosno should be easy to reach if you've done it before - the A4 motorway has now been completed all the way to Krak?w including the missing part in Silesia

thanks for the tips. I'll try to download the latest version of automapa and see if it works.

Thanks for the tips of the leather, but those seats are the standard seats and i have Comfort Seats - so it wouldnt be smart to change for the standard.

I am having my leather changed next week monday for 1380 euros in belgium.

My other option is to use a computer. i am getting the connection next week to link a PC or dvd to the idrive,.. so i might use a PC - or even link the pocket pc with automapa to the iDrive screen. Hey! thats n idea!

Definitely interested to hear more on how that goes. I would love to have the Pocket PC screen mapped in the I-Drive. Where and which software are you getting for that to be possible?

For Automapa you can download a trial version for free which has Zakopane and a part of Warsaw.

I hope it works out with the nav and that you will find your destination. This is just my curiosity, what is the speed limit on the motorway in Poland ?
