Does anyone have this problem? Every time i turn on my car and the fan is on, it lets out a nasty musty smell. I took it in the the Stealer and they claim they deodorized the car but i still keep on getting that smell when i turn on the fan or AC. Does anyone know how to get rid of this nasty smell?

It can only be avoided if you turn off the A/C five minutes before turning off the engine and use the vents w/o A/C instead.
The condensed water stays in the system and that causes the problem.

Run an ozone generator for a little bit running with the AC on recirc. That will get rid of it.

I have the same problem. Dealer did the same deodorizing and it worked for a few days, but then right back to musty. Mine only smells for about 5 seconds right after I turn on the car so I just deal with that as opposed to having to drive my last 5 minutes without ac.

Is there a air freshener that gives out a smell of the new car smell when we first bought our cars ?
