kinda hard to tell where the sound is coming from based on the video, but that doesnt sound like a starter grind.
does the sound come from the engine bay? have some record by engine while starting.

Thats exactly what I believe it is. Its just beyond me that these mechanics cant reproduce the problem / dont hear anything wrong after letting the car sit cold all night, while I reproduce the problem myself 2x a day, smh.

Park the car at the dealers in the evening just as they are closing and then get there early morning and ask for a mechanic to come out and listen....or try another dealer..

I failed to clarify... the dealer I took the car to for service is the used car dealership I bought the car from, not a BMW dealer... I'm taking my car to the BMW dealer sometime next week to get fully inspected.
