A plugged tire almost never fails, it just that we think of it as an injured animal.

and by the way, $50 for a plug is outrageous. If you go for a patch, you'll have to unmount the tire.

I had 2 nails in 2 diffrent tires and cost me $7US to take them out and then are both fine.
My wheels are 19" and I do alot of high speed too
