I am very religious about replacing the PCV valve regularly on all of my cars because it is the one thing that can make an otherwise great running engine tank.
I did some extensive searches and found breather filters for the M series engines that came before it but nothing for the N52 motor.
Does anyone know the location or if it, or is it using some technology to vent that crank case pressure that I am not aware of.
Thanks in advance.

Have you looked at the diagram selection chart?

Thanks that was nice of you. It appears that is uses some kind of oil separator which I suspect goes hand in hand with a vacuum pump.

I just need to research this system and see if there has been any failures associated with it if it is advantageous to replace it preventively.
